Prezidor Ezemweghian Porbeni, professionally known as P.E.P YLS or P.E.P, is a Nigerian-American rapper, singer, and songwriter.

His stage name “P.E.P” is derived from his birth name Prezidor Ezemweghian Porbeni, formed from his initials, while “YLS” represents an extension of his artistic identity.

He was born on October 4, 1989, in Surulere, Lagos, Nigeria, to parents from Patani Local Government Area of Delta State. He spent his early years in New York, where he completed his elementary, junior, and senior high school education. In 2006, he moved to Atlanta, Georgia, and attended Clark Atlanta University, where he studied Biology.

P.E.P began his music career in 2013 with the release of his debut single “Pep Rally.” Since then, he has released over 20 tracks. His music spans multiple genres, including Hip-hop, Afropop, and Afro dancehall.

His musical style has been influenced by artists such as Drake and Kanye West.

He received the Next Rated award at the De Thrills Music Awards in 2024.

His singles “Exotic” and “Bubble,” from his forthcoming studio album, have received airplay on radio stations across Nigeria and have appeared on streaming platform playlists.
